Role & Function
According to the Rule of the Society, Area Councils are instituted at the Deanery level. They are formed by grouping together several societies within a specific deanery.
Their primary purpose is to maintain a link between the Conferences and the Central Council, representing the Society in matters of local importance and animating the activity of the Conferences under their jurisdiction.
The Central Council of Bombay (CCB) - Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP) has the following 8 Area Councils (Deanaries);
